Dealdrive is a platform for collaboration in complex M&A transactions and due diligence processes, featuring a built-in AI assistant that streamlines document review, answers questions, and generates summaries. After extensive testing with some of Norway’s leading corporate finance teams, we are now ready to launch and scale. To support this growth, we are looking for a driven and forward-thinking Sales Executive.

Dealdrive is a Norwegian fintech startup that has developed a system designed to make complex M&A transactions and due diligence processes more efficient.

Our target audience includes investment banks, law firms, and corporate development teams in large corporations that buy and sell businesses.

After several years of product development and testing with Norway’s most prominent investment environments, we are now ready to go to market. We are building a commercial team that will make Dealdrive the first choice in the market.

Dealdrive represents the future of the Virtual Data Room (VDR).

Our CEO, Eirik Kadota-Isaksen, has a strong background in corporate finance. He left the financial sector to focus on his own investments and to build Dealdrive alongside co-founder Øystein Selbekk. Øystein brings more than 30 years of experience in software development and was previously CEO and founder of VisBook, which was acquired by a Swedish investment fund in 2019.

 

You will be joining a highly engaged and experienced team of six developers and corporate finance specialists.

We are currently establishing our commercial function in Oslo.

As our new Sales Executive, and the first commercial hire alongside Eirik, you will play a central role in driving our go-to-market efforts.

At Dealdrive, we have created the virtual data room experience dealmakers actually deserve. With lightning-fast navigation, AI-powered suggestions, and unique automation features, we make complex processes simpler and faster.

As our first Sales Executive, you will have a key role in shaping how Dealdrive grows in the market.


What you will be doing:

  • Identifying, prospecting and qualifying leads across investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and law firms
  • Experimenting with sales approaches to find the most effective way to position and sell the product
  • Negotiating and closing deals with senior decision-makers
  • Capturing and sharing success stories that build credibility and trust
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders in corporate finance

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within financial services or software
  • Is confident engaging with senior stakeholders and knows how to lead a compelling product demo
  • Enjoys prospecting, qualifying leads, and proactively creating new business opportunities
  • Has strong negotiation skills and a clear focus on value creation
  • Is curious about technology and sees the potential in AI tools and automation
  • Takes ownership, shows initiative, and is motivated by being part of something from the ground up
  • Is comfortable working in English, and ideally speaks additional languages
